KIIP.legal (Grünwald near Munich) is building the precision layer for legal AI in trademark law: a SaaS platform covering the entire trademark monitoring workflow – from collision detection through AI-powered assessment to opposition management. Today this process is fragmented and expensive: search engine alerts, manual paralegal screening, case-by-case attorney assessment. That is exactly the part KIIP automates.
The KIIP AI automatically assesses every reported collision – with a Conflict Potential Score for quick triage and transparent, structured reasoning (word mark and product scope analysis) instead of a black box. The analyses cover similarity, goods/services overlap, distinctiveness, likelihood of confusion, and a recommended course of action.
The platform is in productive use: in 8+ jurisdictions (incl. EU, UK, BR, CN, KR), trained on real trademark data, with a patent-pending agent architecture – and already used by the first trademark law firms, which bill client work based on KIIP analyses. The roadmap extends from word marks to logo marks to automated opposition communication.
